The founders of Vet-ID have over 15 years of experience in the field of animal identification at the international level. This hands-on and practical expertise allows Vet-ID to maintain privileged business relationships with suppliers of microchips, readers, and other products such as rapid test kits. Thanks to these direct relationships, Vet-ID is able to offer clients very competitive prices without intermediaries, by focusing on a carefully curated selection of high-quality products.

Anyone who works with companion animals can purchase products from Vet-ID. However, microchips that require a veterinary act are reserved exclusively for licensed veterinarians. Organizations such as animal shelters, local authorities, police departments, dog clubs, breeders, or animal behaviorists may, for example, purchase Vet-ID’s chip readers.

Vet-ID is a small business with no field sales team. All commercial activity is conducted directly via email or through the website: www.vet-id.ch. We also work directly with product manufacturers, without any additional intermediaries. This model allows us to offer advantageous commercial conditions in Switzerland.

The microchips we sell comply with ISO 11784 standards and are produced with the 756 country code, which is specific to Switzerland. Only Swiss veterinarians are authorized to implant these microchips in companion animals within Switzerland.
