Fever Check – 2×12 mm thermal biosensor – Temperature microchip

This 2 × 12 mm bioglass transponder integrates a thermal biosensor, which transmits the temperature (between 30°C and 50°C) of the surrounding tissue in which it is implanted.

Description :

This microchip does not have an identification function. It is therefore not a replacement for the ISO 11784 identification chip.
Its sole purpose is to provide the animal’s temperature at the time of scanning.
It is recommended to implant it on the right side of the animal (opposite to the identification microchip).
This biosensor helps avoid rectal temperature measurement, which is often difficult and stressful for the animal.
